Full packing or partial packing
You don’t have to choose all or nothing.
- Full packing. We pack the whole house. Kitchen, lounge, bedrooms, bathroom, garage. Everything is wrapped, boxed, labelled by room and loaded. At the other end, we can unpack and take away the empty boxes and packing materials. It’s the best fit for busy families, large homes, older customers and long-distance moves.
- Partial packing. We pack the hard rooms and the fragile things, and you do the rest. Most people hand us the kitchen, glassware, artwork, mirrors, lamps and anything breakable, and pack clothes, linen and books themselves. It’s a good way to save money while protecting the things most likely to break.

What we bring
Every packing job comes with the materials to do it properly:
- Boxes in several sizes: small for books and heavy items, medium for general household goods, large for light and bulky things
- Wardrobe boxes so hanging clothes travel on the hanger
- Dish packs with dividers for plates and glasses
- Bubble wrap and clean, ink-free packing paper
- Mattress bags, sofa covers and stretch wrap to keep upholstery clean and dry
- Padded furniture blankets and corner protectors
- Tape, markers, fragile labels and room labels
You don’t need to supply anything. If you’d rather pack some of it yourself, ask us about boxes and materials when you get your quote.
How we pack a house
- Room by room. We work through one room at a time, so the house never turns into a maze of half-packed boxes.
- Heavy at the bottom, light on top. Books and kitchenware go in small boxes. Pillows and bedding go in big ones. Every box is filled so it won’t crush when others are stacked on it.
- Breakables wrapped one by one. Plates are packed on their edge, glasses wrapped individually, and every fragile box clearly marked.
- Furniture prepared for the truck. Cushions come off, drawers are emptied of heavy items, and large pieces like beds and tables are taken apart where needed. Furniture is wrapped in blankets, with stretch wrap on upholstered pieces.
- Labelled for the new house. Each box is marked with the room it’s going to and what’s inside, so the crew at the other end knows exactly where to put it.
Packing for offices and businesses
We pack and move offices and shops too. Files are boxed and labelled to match your new floor plan, desks are taken apart and reassembled, and packing can happen after hours so your staff can keep working.
